Pennsylvania Nutrition Education Tracks (Tracks) administers Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (SNAP-Ed), formerly known as Food Stamp Nutrition Education (FSNE), for the Department of Public Welfare (DPW) in Pennsylvania. Tracks is funded through USDA’s Food & Nutrition Service (FNS) and operates the SNAP-Ed program according to federal guidance.

Tracks has specific nutrition education plans for three target audiences: adults/seniors, school-age children, and preschoolers.  Agencies serving low income individuals and families can submit annual applications for funding to provide nutrition education programming that aligns with one or more of these education plans.

Notice of intent to apply must be received by the TRACKS office by Noon, EST, on Thursday, December 18th.

 

To register your intent to apply, please complete the FY 2010 PA SNAP-Ed Intent to Apply form and submit one of the following ways:


Applicants are required to attend proposal conferences in January, February, or March 2009.  Completed RFP documents are due no later than one week prior to the proposal conference.
